We are pouring Solidarity Pilsner on Tuesday, August 21st. The event will feature a full local takeover with core beers and rarities from the breweries involved in the brewing - Three Stars, DC Brau, Right Proper, Port City, Champion, Hellbender, Denizens, Atlas - as well as an exclusive collaboration dry-hopped pale ale called A Priest and a Rabbi Walked Into a Bar (brewed at Atlas by JP McCracken from City Tap Penn Quarter and Miriam Davis-Rosenbaum from City Tap Dupont).

On Tuesday, August 21st, ChurchKey will once again devote all 55 of its draft and cask lines to beers brewed right here in the District. This marks the fourth we've turned over each and every one of our taps to our DC Craft Brewers.
A true tribute to the collective greatness of DC's brewing scene, we will showcase a wide array of one-offs and rarities--both on cask and on draft 3 Stars, Atlas, Bluejacket, DC Brau, Hellbender, District Chophouse and Right Proper. You do not want to miss this monumental event, one that has quickly become a DC Beer Week tradition at ChurchKey!

Tonic at Quigley's is bringing you a taste of the Blue Ridge Mountains and will be pouring fan favorites Vienna Lager, Trail Angel Weiss and limited release Glitter Bomb sour, back by popular demand!
On Tuesday, August 21st from 6-8pm, Philip Runco of Brightest Young Things will moderate a DC Beer Week panel discussion with the artists featured in the museum's exhibit, "The Art of Beer". Artists Mike Van Hall, Kendra Kuliga, Andy Sides, David Kammerdeiner, and Graham Jackson design the labels, posters, and logos of area breweries like Aslin Beer Company, 3 Stars Brewing Company, DC Brau Brewing Company, Ocelot Brewing Company, and Stillwater Artisanal. Their works will be exhibited in the Heurich House Museum's Carriage House Gallery from August 3 to September 29.
In addition to the program, attendees will be able to view the artists' works and drink the beers they make famous.
Tickets include admission and snacks. Drinks will be available for purchase.

Team Dacha wants YOU to decide which beer will be making our Fall tap line up! The challenge consists of 3 fall-to-winter style brews and a $7 flight. Brewery reps from each selection will be in the garden handing out swag and playing games to try and win your vote while you taste and cast your ballet! The winner will be announced the following day and added to our Fall draft list.

Join The Partisan on Wednesday, August 22nd as we host our good friends from Aslin Beer Company. On this night, we’ll tap a dozen beers from the highly sought after brewery from Herndon, VA!
The fine folks from Aslin have sent us an incredible list of beers, including 50/50 Bar, a popsicle-inspired IPA brewed with passion fruit, pink guava, and vanilla; and Cocoa Mapalm, an Imperial Stout finished with cocoa nibs, maple syrup and vanilla.
Other notables include Take It Into Cooperation, a double-fruited Gose conditioned on peaches, mangos, raspberries, pink guava, vanilla and lactose.

Join ChurchKey on Thursday, August 23rd as we host our good friends from Maine Beer Company. On this night, we’ll pour the highly elusive Dinner Double IPA on draft for the very first time in DC, while raising money for the Friends of Katahdin Woods & Waters!
Considered one of the best beers in the country, Dinner is Maine Beer Co.’s most coveted release – sold only at the brewery to long lines of loyal fans. This inimitable Imperial IPA is double dry-hopped with Citra, Falconer’s Flight, Mosaic and Simcoe at a rate of 6 lbs. of hops per barrel.
Most importantly, ChurchKey will be donating $1 from every Maine beer sold to the Friends of Katahdin Woods & Waters, a non-profit working to preserve 87,562 acres of Maine forest, including more than 30 miles of rivers, streams and crucial wildlife habitats.

Boundary Stone will host a Battle of the Bands on Thursday, August 23 at 9pm. Ten local bands will compete while Boundary Stone taps will feature musically-themed beers from Pale Fire and Solace in honor of DC Beer Week.
Bands who wish to enter should email firstname.lastname@example.org. Each participant will get a 15 minute set to perform for the local judges. The winning band will get the opportunity to headline at Boundary Stone and a cash prize! Boundary Stone was named one of the top three places in D.C. for live music by Washington City Paper in 2018.

Come enjoy a historic lager extinct for 78 years...until now! From the Smithsonian's National Museum of American History archives center comes a pale lager only available at Right Proper Shaw. Amsterdam, 1940 was brewed in collaboration with Lost Lagers, DC's leading beverage research firm, and The Bruery Store. The delectable pale lager will pour alongside a historic dish also born from a recipe deep in the museum's archives. Hear a panel featuring beer and food historians, and an award-winning chef.
Join The Sovereign on Monday, August 20th, as we celebrate DC Beer Week 2018 with the fine folks from The Veil Brewing Company. On this night, we’ll pour 10 beers from the Richmond, VA brewery!
The Veil has sent us an incredible list of beers, including a trio of mixed fermentation farmhouse ales from The Veil’s highly vaunted barrel aging program. Headlining the list is the only keg of Brenner Pass: Grand Cru ever served outside of The Veil or Brenner Pass. This farmhouse inspired ale is brewed with French Saison yeast and aged in freshly dumped French oak barrels.
Other notables include Concentric, their collaboration with Oxbow Brewing Company; and Raspberry All That You Are, conditioned in French oak barrels with whole raspberries.

Please join the DC Brewers' Guild and City Winery as we Kick off DC Beer Week 2018 with a celebration of the District of Columbia's rich lager brewing history.
Lager Fest is an event by the local brewing community to showcase our region's best lagers for your enjoyment. This event will bring together more than 30 craft breweries for an afternoon of refreshing lager style beers, pilsers, and related summer favorites, including hard-to-find rare brews. Join ChurchKey on Sunday, August 19th as we celebrate DC Beer Week with our good friends from Great Raft Brewing. On this day, we’ll pour 7 different beers from the Shreveport brewery while hosting co-founder Andrew Nations!
Headlining the list is The Company I Keep, a brand new American-style Pilsner that is refreshingly crisp and hoppy, with a subtle hint of fruit. Not to be outdone, we’re also showcasing Double Barrel Aged Old Mad Joy, a Baltic Porter aged twice in Bourbon barrels; Rhinestone Life, a hazy New England style IPA hopped with Citra, Simcoe and Mosaic; and Oceans Between Us, a 100% Brett-fermented IPA with El Dorado hops.
There is no admission fee for this event. All Great Raft beers will be priced individually by the glass and in 4 oz. tasting pours.

Cask Day is Saturday, August 18th, 2018 12pm-5pm
Near the end of Cask Day at 4pm, Growler Fills for $5 Open to the Public
